Jones v. Harris Associates: the "excessive fees" mutual fund lawsuit

In this lawsuit an investment company (i.e., mutual fund) advisor is alleged to have charged excessive fees to its "captive" mutual fund. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit held for the advisor. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear the case this fall. The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times recently published articles about the lawsuit. A link to the WSJ article appears at:
