Jones v. Harris Associates: the "excessive fees" mutual fund lawsuit

In this lawsuit an investment company (i.e., mutual fund) advisor is alleged to have charged excessive fees to its "captive" mutual fund. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit held for the advisor. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear the case this fall.
